Grammar Focus: Asking the time

Here are some phrases you use when you want to know the time:
- what's the time?
- what time is it?
- Have you got the time?
- Coud you tell me the time?
- Exccuse me. Do you happen to know what time it is ?
- Would you happen to know what time it is?

a.m. is used to tell time after 12 midnight 12 noon.
p.m. is used to tell time between 12 noon to 12 midnight.
